Welcome to The Windmill - The Windmill with a ‘window’ to the Algarve. Here is a great opportunity to have a relaxing holiday in a ‘real’ windmill, in the Eastern Algarve. With 360° panoramic views, The Windmill occupies a superb countryside location and yet is only  a 15 minutes drive into Tavira and Cabanas. The Windmill sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms.

Outside The Windmill - is the Eastern Algarve. And the best part is, it’s all yours. From your large south facing terrace, with the fabulous views, you have your pool, dining areas, (shaded and un-shaded), a small lawn, and a barbeque area. You will probably be spending most of your time outdoors in the summer months, so you have all the space you need. Climb the staircase that hugs the outside of The Windmill, and you arrive on a roof terrace for even more privacy. Inside The Windmill - there are three floors. At its base is an almost ‘cave-like’ dining area. The stone staircase leads you up to the next floor where you will find seating and the old mill wheel. The final ascent is by a small ladder that takes you up into the roof of The Windmill. This is where you can relax amongst more original workings and with the window shutters open to the world, you really are ‘on top of the Algarve’

The cottage which is built onto the windmill is open plan between the kitchen and the lounge. The kitchen has everything you would expect for self catering accommodation and the lounge is comfortable with satellite TV and patio doors opening onto the terrace. There are two bedrooms, one double with en-suite, the other a twin and both have air conditioning. The bathroom has a small bath with shower over, WC and handbasin.

Reserving The Windmill

To reserve your chosen dates, so they appear as Provisional in the calendar above, (coloured grey), simply click Reserve The Windmill and a new window will appear. Complete the form that follows. Almost immediately after submitting a reservation form, you will receive an email confirming that your reservation form has been received, and that it is being dealt with. Please note that your reservation is not a confirmed booking until a deposit payment has been received.

What are the arrival days, check-in and check-out times ?

Change over days at The Windmill are Saturdays, the check-in time is no earlier than 16.00 hrs, check-out time is no later than 11.00 hrs.
