For just a few Euros return, you can get to Armona beach by ferry from Olhão. The
following photos start at the ticket office, which you can find in the east corner
of the waterfront gardens in Olhão. The ferry takes 15 minutes to reach the island
of Armona, and when you arrive you have the choice of the the small beach near to
where the ferry docks, or the huge ocean beach on the other side of Armona island.
For the Armona ocean beach, the walk will take approximately 25 minutes, through
a very quaint village, but well worth the effort.
